Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs Minister Edwin Poots has announced the re-appointment of Roberta Brownlee as Deputy Chair of the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI) for a further two years.
Confirming the re-appointment, Minister Poots said: "The role of the AFBI Board is to provide strategic direction and to promote good governance including the highest standards of financial management. I have decided to re-appoint Roberta Brownlee as AFBI Deputy Chair for a second term of two years from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2025.
"This decision reflects the very effective performance of Roberta as Deputy Chair and recognises the key role she plays in the Board and in supporting the Chair. I am delighted Roberta has agreed to a second term as AFBI Deputy Chair and I am confident that she will continue to excel in her role."
